The battles in Space Funeral play out like most turn-based RPGs: you'll use Philip's attacks and skills to defeat enemies. Thankfully the enemies don't appear randomly but instead are scattered throughout the level, which makes it possible to avoid them if you want. Playing Space Funeral is quite an experience, as it defies the genre's common tropes and creates a parody of role-playing games and horror games. There's certainly no other game created by RPG Maker like it.
