The objects in your inventory can be used later on in other parts of the room. The most common example is the key: you'll find a small key while rummaging around one part of the room, which you'll have to save in your inventory and use later to open the closet. Cube Escape: Arles is an excellent escape the room game (an actual sub-genre in itself!), in which some very ingenious puzzles will put your ingenuity to the test. It's Van Gogh-esque visual style is a breath of fresh air.
